Why we made it
Our kids' bowls
tasted like soap.
Every silicone bowl we bought held on to dish soap. One wash and dinner tasted like the sink.
So we made a bowl from natural wheat straw. It rinses clean and holds no odor. And it survives the floor.

A few little
questions.
Will it taste like soap after the dishwasher?
No. That is why we made it. Silicone holds on to dish soap. Wheat straw rinses clean, with no soap taste and no odor.
Is it tested?
Yes. Bay Area Compliance Laboratories, a CPSC-accepted lab, tested the bowl, lid, spoon and base in October 2024. Lead, cadmium and phthalates were not detected. A Children's Product Certificate is on file.
What comes in the set?
Two bowls, two lids, two matching spoons and two removable suction bases. Eight pieces altogether.
Can I remove the suction base?
Yes. Each suction base is removable, so you can use the bowl with or without it.
Does the lid work as a plate?
Yes. The lid doubles as a plate. Use it to cover the bowl or serve food separately.
How big are the bowls?
Each bowl holds 16 oz and measures 6.3 inches wide and 2.8 inches tall.
Which colors can I choose?
Blue & White pairs a blue bear with an oat-colored bear. Yellow & White pairs a yellow duck with an oat-colored bear.
